Overview

Explore the world of lever espresso with the Flair Neo Flex Manual Espresso Machine. Flair's entry-level lever, the Neo offers a lightweight and packable polymer design with both pressurized and non ressurized portafilters to make brewing espresso easy. A built in gauge gives you an eye for when you're pulling in the right pressure range, while the large lever gives ample leverage for building pressure. Setup is easy, simply dose into the portafilter chamber, attach the brew unit, pour in boiling water, and lower the lever firmly to brew. Best of all, you can pack up the Neo and take it on the go with the included carrying case.

Works. Good crema, every time.. Nothing broken after 60 espressos. Steel hinge pin creeps out little by little (to left) pressure induced vibration. I tap it back in. No biggie. Burls will wear down seat at some point. I will nut and bolt it when that happens. The roller might cause less friction with bronze seat.Base flexes. No pun. I lean on mine but have to be careful to maintain vertical pressure, too much sideways and it could go. ABS is good but braces are needed due to modulus of flexibility. I live in a very small space. It fits my life every day. I would turn the base oval 90 degrees to improve sideways stability.Clever to incorporate slack in the tolerances for the portafilter cradle. Good seals. No bypass. Worth the Benjamin.Handle arc is inverted. Counter intuitive. As my hand presses down the handle slopes away. Think about it. I will probably glue a ball or a cork in the end so my hand stays on for last of push. I bag mine. Don't like cases, although it is well done.
