Unusable

I don't know what I was doing wrong but I was able to use this maybe once and now I can't get it to turn on. The button is incredibly difficult to push and even pushing down on it, I can't get it to do anything.

Very underwhelming for the price

Its either too difficult to press and activate, or it activates and doesn't turn off, or it just doesn't activate. These results can be achieved by trying to depress the button back to back. You get different results with every press. My $5 IKEA frother might not be as heavy, sturdy, or big but at least it works.

Use Instead of My Machine's Frother

I love this little frother. It froths quickly and requires only a simple rinse and I am done. I use it instead of the frother on my superautomatic because it can be used while my espresso shot is drawing, then the aforementioned quick rinse and I am done.

Good while the motor works

I like the abilities of the Bodum Frother...while the motor works. I use it about twice per day and lasts about 1-year. It has a high speed brushless motor. It does froth. Bodum does not offer replacement motors.

Best Steaming alternative

Found this at my local ACE Hardware store. Recognized it from this site and had to buy it. Sweet little device. I'm so glad I found it because like many, I do not have the money to buy a quality espresso machine with steaming capabilities. I used to work in a coffee shop as a barista and know that the $100 home machines don't cut it... However, I have had a lot of success using a moka pot. After fine tuning my grind size and dosage, I get espresso out of a moka pot that tastes almost identical to a shot out of the Nuova Simonelli I used to work with. Paired with this milk frother, you can make true Cafe drinks! It takes some practice but this frother can applicably froth milk to the same texture as a steam wand would on a machine. With a little practice I was able to froth my milk to a micro foam "wet paint" texture perfect for lattes and pouring art! Brilliante device here. Highly recommend if you can't afford an espresso machine.

Works like a wonder

This Milk Frother works like a wonder, adding a fancy touch to my latte, it beat the milk nicely to foam, love it. The only reason I don't give 5 star on quality is because the back cap where battery is install falls off very easily, pretty much each time I took it out of box, I'll need to fix the cap, and can't grab the frother on the very top end when its working its magic, cause it will easily cause the cap to pop. Other then That, I am very happy with this product

How are the batteries put in?

Timothy S.

Easily opens from the black end-cap for inserting standard batteries. No screws, etc.

John C.

A plastic top comes off the fat end. You drop in two AA batteries and voila! Foam.

Where is the on button?
