FAQs
ESE stands for Easy Serving Espresso. These ready-to-brew portions of ground coffee let you prepare espresso without measuring or grinding beans. They’re designed for machines that support the ESE pod format.
Check your machine’s manual for ESE compatibility and any required pod basket or holder. Not every espresso machine accepts ESE pods, and machines designed for proprietary capsules generally use a different format.
Install your machine’s ESE-compatible basket or holder, position the pod according to the manual, and start the espresso brew cycle. There’s no need to open the pod, grind coffee, or tamp the grounds.
Keep your pods in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. If they’re individually wrapped, leave each wrapper sealed until you’re ready to brew. Follow the package’s storage guidance after opening.
Remove and discard the used pod after brewing. Clean the pod basket or holder according to your machine’s manual, and keep up with its recommended cleaning and descaling schedule. Using pods doesn’t replace regular machine care.
