I'm sorry, I really wanted to like these cups. I ordered them because their capacity is perfect for what I make, but sadly, there are some big downsides: 1.) Note the shape of these cups - the surface area relative to the capacity is HUGE. This means that a shot is going to be less than hot in less than a MINUTE. (Seriously, these cups, even pre-heated, cool a shot extremely quickly because there's just waaaaay too much surface area. If you want to pull a shot or two and pound them down immediately, these might work for you, but if you're frothing milk or anything that takes more than about 45 seconds, your espresso is going to be cooling rapidly. Also, if you're someone who likes to take more than 2-3 minutes to drink your macchiato, cortado, or whatever, then, AGAIN, this cup will leaving you drinking your coffee at room temperature in under 5 minutes. The last downside is that the rim is rather thick. For me, it's a bit too thick and feels somewhat clumsy and imprecise against my lips as I'm taking a sip. The cups look great on a shelf, but after a few days, I got so bummed out and annoyed I just stopped using them and went back to my other, cheaper, less-cool-looking cups which work and feel much better, because they'll keep my cortado warm for about 10 minutes, and they're not prone to that vague feeling of contact because of the thickness (which can lead to drips or spills.). Honestly, I don't recommend these.
