I like this coffee. I’ve been playing with the proportion of coffe to water in my French Press and I’m almost at perfect. I believe the cherry notes must be very subtle, I’m not getting that at all. Lots of deep chocolate, however.
It's my favorite coffee blend. I use it for expresso.
This is one of the best I have ever had. I have to reduce my caffeine so this was a good one for me. It's a good one to wake up to in the morning.
Best of Ethiopian and Colombian. Fruit forward Ethiopian with an earthy Colombian. A very tasty coffee to start your day. This is my second bag and see no reason there will not b a third.
This is a cozy up by the fire / winter holiday type of coffee. The combination of choc/caramel marionberry/cherry reminds me of the taste of candy canes for some reason. So if you like dessert notes, it's worth a try. It's not a extremely unique roast, but it's a nice bean to add to your mix rotation.
My new morning favorite. I ordered this blend along with coffee I had tasted before. The flavor notes intrigued me. Yummy. I drink my coffee black and brew with an ancient Braun drip coffeemaker. This coffee has unique highlights and I'm glad I took a chance. Nothing quite like it!
Well balanced coffee. Makes superb pour overs and is also well suited for espressos.
About 5 months ago my wife & I branched out from our espresso routine of 2 years where we had settled in using an excellent Ethiopian light roasted bean for our morning espresso. I read reviews and bought 15 different light roast coffees from various roasters across the US. Surprisingly this Brandywine Coffee Mt. Ranier blend was our #3 pick from the 15 tested coffee beans! We will be purchasing more and I will try out Brandywine Coffee's other beans soon!
Once a month I order four packs of coffee. I buy two I know taste great and two new. Last month the two known to taste great were Spyhouse Bold & Beautiful & Tony’s Sugar Bee. The two new were Onyx Southern Weather and Brandywine Seattle Coffee Gear blend. The Onyx was absolutely superb. The Brandywine tastes sour in comparison.
I was looking forward to this coffee so much. I am so sorry to say definitely not a fan. I also let several others try it just to make sure it wasn't me. Was sad to say the rest was thrown out.
It was our favorite from the 6 bags that we ordered. Will be ordering this blend regularly
This was really interesting, even starting with the smell. It didn't have the usual just the facts coffee aroma. And that made me nervous. But it brewed up sweet and mellow and wasn't too fruit forward.
This is my favorite coffee. It makes wonderful espresso.
I wasn’t expecting the experience that this bag offered. For the price, it is the best in its class. I enjoyed this with my Kalita 155 and Forte BG grinder.
I love this coffee. Very flavorful
I got this for my Wife since she likes rich coffee with notes of Chocolate or Fruit. Sometimes both. Her assessment there is no hint of Chocolate. Even more so the look on her face when with the first sip was a big let down. She said it didn't taste any better than a random Grocery Store Coffee or Starbucks. The ball was dropped on this one.
Is this whole bean or ground?
It's whole bean. They're censoring my review - it ships stale. I would recommend buying locally as this was 30 days past roast on arrival.
Whole bean!
