When a brand-new coffee roaster opens up right next door to Starbucks, well… you know it’s going to be good. That’s what happened when Caffe Ladro opened up its first shop in 1994 on Upper Queen Anne in Seattle, right next door to Starbucks. To be fair, it’s a quintessential Seattle tale; Everyone knows there’s room for more than one great coffee shop in the Coffee Capital. Utterly *delicious* decaffeinated espresso

I've got access to a lot of great beans out there, but this is the finest decaf espresso I've had the joy of using in my Philips superautomatic machine (also a SCG purchase thank you kindly!). This really has all the flavor, aroma, and nuance of what I enjoy in full-caffeine coffees, and a great crema to boot. Thanks so much to Seattle Coffee Gear for stocking this, and kudos to Ladro on a truly delicious coffee!
