Best grouphead gasket on the market

Transformed my Gaggia Coffee Deluxe (i.e., classic without OPV). Perfect fit. No leaking. Easy portafilter insertion. I love this silicone thing. I'll never buy a rubber grouphead gasket again.

Excellent replacement for original

Upon SCG staff guidance, I replaced my original gasket with this one in my Rocket Milano. My machine had been leaking by the handle and I had turned to SCG for help. Perfect fit and no more leaks.

New gasket time

When I ordered my Appartamento it came with an extra gasket; 8mm silicone (red). From the beginning I was able to push the portafilter handle past 6 o'clock. It developed an ocassional spray but today it started leaking badly so I cleaned it out following a SCG Youtube video. The shower head pried out very easily so the old gasket was worn out; 6 days past one year from delivery. Haven't tried the new gasket yet. Am ordering this 8.5mm since the original 8mm went past 6 o'clock from the beginning. I think this is due to within-spec differences in the distance of the gasket seat to the dogs. Getting new shower head too. The tune-up kit comes with a gasket but doesn't mention what it's made of so I'm guessing rubber like the original, so am instead buying pieces a-la-carte. Getting a new 8mm too, just in case.
