I'm not a writer, but a coffee lover for early morning wakes...every aspect of Chemex is right on!! No bitter taste...easy breezy brewing..and it is the envy of my roomies....really didn,t know anything besides store bought coffee makers.Keep it up!

I honestly got this for decor. I do plan to use this for its purpose but I’m so happy with the product. I love my chemex so this was a natural purchase for me.

A bit disappointing

My disappointment is purely towards Chemex and its design of this set, not SCG! I love the concept behind this set because I love my Chemex and they pair together beautifully. My biggest 'point' against would be the lack of a spout for the cream. I'm confident adding a spout would sort of ruin the whole idea behind the design, but unfortunately what this set makes up for in looks it sacrifices in terms of functionality. What I mean is, without fail, anytime I use the bottom piece to pour cream, there is always a tiny dribble left that trickles down the outside of the glass - annoying! Nonetheless, it's a beautiful set and if you can stand always using the creamer bit placed over a plate or napkin, then it's a fun, good-looking piece to have.
