High functioning filter that doesn't break, allowing grounds to pass through to the carafe. I previously used USA sold Melitta #4 cone filters and they would split at the seam 99% of the time, allowing the grounds to pass right through. The European produced Melitta filters are fine. However I haven't been able to purchase them in the states. This is when I located Chemex on the search. I've been now using the Chemex filters for 3 weeks, twice a day. Each use produced great coffer and no failure in the filter. ??
Its great. Circles make pouring easier because I dont have to dodge the corners of the squares. Bleached is fine but I wish they weren’t bleached. Works great though.

I've been folding coffee filters since I bought my Chemex several years ago. When I saw these and saw the price, I purchased them immediately. So glad I did. Don't have to fold anymore and they work just as well.
They don't seem as thick as the filters that I get directly from Chemex and I think it does affect the coffee flavor. Not sure I will re-order from here as there was no option to order the brown untreated paper filters, which I prefer.

The Chemex pre-folded circle filter is easy to use and does not break under pressure. Once your coffee is brewed, it's easy to lift out and discard. We dump the grinds down the disposal and rinse out the filter to recycle. The paper is thick and strong! Since the Chemex needs these filters to brew properly, the price is acceptable. The quality is excellent.
A very high quality filter, makes a very smooth bitter free cup of coffee but lets all the delicious flavor thru. I am sold!

I would use the Chemex Pre-folded filter if you use anything else it bubbles at the spout and dribbles all over the counter as you are pouring hot water in over the coffee
I researched and found the Chemex 3 cup filters highly rated, so these are the ones I bought. I'm happy with them, haven't used them all but looking for non-bleached natural filters for next purchase.

I us the pre folded circle. I tried other brands and was not happy. They are worth the price and function as advertised.

Yes, just a matter how much coffee you plan to prepare, or if you use a smaller filter in a larger Brewer you would need to pour much slower. To me buy the filter you plan to use most, I make 12 oz for myself everyday so don't need a huge filter, unless I have company.
The filters are cone shaped when deployed and will easily hold Enough grounds for 6 cups of coffee.
I honestly do not know, I don't use a chemex...However I would assume they'd work fine. If it's too short, don't put as much grind. If it's too tall, it doesn't matter...
