Wow! I have descaled before, but never used this product. My Technivorm Moccamaster is a few years old, and I ran a single batch of water with this cleaner through and the water that came out looked almost like a batch off coffee it removed so much oil from inside the system! The next batch I ran through was extremely clean. So, one batch does an amazing job, and by the time I ran a few batches of clean water through and wiped down the water tank, my machine was looking new! I am a believer in this product! Worth the purchase!

I've always used white vinegar. But as I purchased my Simply Good Coffee- Drip Coffee Maker, I saw a note that recommended Urnex. It is MILES ahead of White Vinegar at doing the job. I followed the directions and, WALLA WALLA! a great cup once again of Vashon Island Roasteries best, Black!

Cleancaf is the best. It leaves my Technivorm perfectly clean, the carafe sparkles, the filter holder is clean and hopefully the insides are too. I have tried other coffee maker cleaners and none have cleaned as well or are as easy to use.

Works, easy to use, good product and value. We use it regularly to keep our coffee maker clean and working well.

It does work - the instructions could say more though. I use 1-1/2 packs for my Moccamaster thermal carafe, and let it sit for at least an hour. I do need to scrub the carafe also, so I use a long handle to reach in and scrub with a cloth or sponge. It is bit of a pain to reach in with the handle, but it does work to remove the stains. This works better than soap alone.

I watched the video (for cleaning my Technivorm) with Gail showing me the way and then placed my order for BOTH Dezcal and CleanCal. Partnered together, it was the DYNAMIC DUO for getting my beloved coffeemaker back in A+ performance! THANK YOU GAIL!

I can't believe the dark gunky liquid that was cleaned out of our TechniVorm! I've used Dezcal several times, but recently, finally, got the CleanCaf - I didn't really notice a difference in taste the next day, possibly a bit smoother? but feel much better about getting the innards cleaned out. I suspect it will add life to the machine, which of course is used every day (for 8 years so far), and I will still occasionally use Dezcal to keep the scale out. Very thankful to have both products.

The packaging is a different color than when I received it from Gevalia; That was the color in this email; now it's white and blue- It works better than the vinegar and water recipe-

Hadn't used my CleanCaf in awhile, lazy, but with the replacement carafe decided to be good to the Technivorm Moccamaster. The coffee tastes better. Then, I ran another pouch of it through. Now, the machine makes coffee faster. Between the Rancilio Rocky grinder and our 6-year-old Technivorm, we're getting superb coffee. Am using a Nicaragua dark roast right now.

Love the lack of smell wife always complained about vinegar

I've used this product for years, after a friend recommended it. I also use it to clean a glass pitcher that I use for iced tea. I mix it with water, swish it around, and the build-up is dissolved.

Cleaned well but could not fix a broken machine with low temperatures for brewing

I am very impressed with this product. It worked miracles on an older stainless coffee cup that I have used forever. There was some residue left over from previous attempts at cleaning the cup with vairious products. One time use with this product and no scrubbing at all. Looks brand new again! Highly recommend
