With blend names like Fast Forward and Hologram, Counter Culture Coffee better be as forward-thinking as its branding suggests! If you take a look into the history of this Durham, NC-based coffee roaster, you’ll find a little bit of disruption and a whole lot of innovation along the way. Counter Culture Coffee was founded in 1995 by two coffee-lovers with a mission: to produce sustainable, eco-friendly coffee beans. In fact, it was one of the first shade-grown coffee makers around and launched a shade-grown, bird-friendly line of coffee in 1997.

Is this any good for espresso?

Marsha F.

We drink this regularly using a semiautomatic machine that makes americanos. We really like the fast forward apolllo and big trouble beans ! Bonus they are dry beans for a semiauto machine!

Paula L.

Yes it’s good for espresso. That’s what I used it for!!

John M.

Yes I really enjoy it. It’s good for me because I like to coffee that’s not so in the face.

I don't know since I have used it using a drip.and.pour over method.. Using those bring methods dots result in a very good cyp.

Hello! I made a couple shots of espresso with it. It’s very good, but if you making a milk drink I don’t think it’s worth it. A lot of the fruity flavors get overwhelmed by the milk. I drink it black using a v60 now.
