Worth the purchase?

I've been meaning to write this review back in June 2019 when I purchased this catch bin. One of the major reasons I purchased it was because of the drop in price. Even now the price is lower than I paid for it. However, is it a good purchase?Yes, the fines do cling to the catch bin. After I read Robert's review, I researched to determine what causal factors that contributed to static cling being more pronounced. It appears that during the winter months, when there is less moisture in the air, static cling is unavoidable. So, after I purchased this catch bin in June, I wondered how much the fines would cling with increased humidity. It is now September 8th, and the humidity here in Missouri is still high. And, unfortunately, my hopes were not met and the cling is just as significant as it was at the beginning of summer. The question remains, is Eureka's catch bin worth the purchase? Me, myself, and I are all in agreement; it is. At its current price point it is a steal. But more importantly it does its job; despite the coffee fines clinging to the inner walls of the catch bin, it serves its purpose quite well; it captures 99.9% of all fines and reduces the amount of clean up.Buy with confidence. Just keep in mind that it's not the gift from heaven (zero static cling) that might have been expected at its much higher price point when Seattle Gear first carried it in their inventory.

Don't bother

I purchased this to go with my Perfetto. It looks amazing and does catch the ground coffee...and that's about all I can say that is positive. Maybe I was being naive when buying this but I wasn't expecting static to be as bad as it is with this accessory. Coffee literally clings to the entire surface of this when you grind and doesn't dislodge when you tap it. There is a complete lack of value and function with this accessory and I do not recommend it in any way.
