Good, silent but complex to tame

Grinds well and I can get good espresso out of it, however the knob is very very sensible and therefore it's incredibly complex to get right.It is silent for a grinder which was also important to me.

Would be hard to top this grinder.

Easy to use and very quit and grinds coffee with a wide range of adjustment, so get the espresso I want.

Open box Silenzio

Great item, built to last and super quiet. Obviously I got it at a great open box price. criticisms are it's harder to dial in (fine, only) and the portafilter holder is a little flimsy compared to the quality and heft of the grinder itself.

Superb so far

I bought this thing replace my late Baratza Solis Maestro grinder. I had been using the Maestro with a Lelit espresso machine plus for filter coffee, French Press and Mocha pot. Unfortunately, the espresso machine broke down and I am only using it for general grinding duties. But the Silenzio has worked great.Pros: very quiet (!) and the grind adjustment is super easy. I love the infinite adjustment. Cons: it really is a dedicated espresso grinder. You can use it for all kinds of grinding, but it’s not easy to remember exactly what position you had it dialed into. Another downside is the Silenzio seems to retain a lot more grounds than my old grinder. Given my situation it might have been smarter for me to buy a Baratza Vario. But the Silenzio is super quiet and I am looking forward to using it with my espresso machine.

Delivers as advertised

The grinder does what its suppose to do. I'm not sure how much I'm missing out on the digital upgrade that some of the more expensive Eureka grinders have but for right now I'm happy with it and have about 2 to 3 hundred more dollars in my pocket. As I step up my espresso acumen I'll see if I made a bad decision.
