Great!

Love the design, both visually and functionally. I find the medium size is perfect for me: I usually get 3 bags of coffee at a time, and I'll put two in the freezer. Then with the bag I'm using, I put about 2/3 in the atmos canister, and just use the bag for 3-4 days. Then I refill the bag from the canister when I need more beans- that way I don't have to open it every day and expose the beans to fresh air. That may just be in my head- I haven't done any testing, but it seems to me that the whole point of using a vacuum canister is to keep the beans away from air. The canister feels really premium and solid, the mechanism for removing air is easy and satisfying, and the finish is beautiful!

Keeps my coffee fresh!

Be mindful of the size. I got the 0.7 L version, to not have to pump extra air most of the time. It barely fits the contents of a 340G bag. Other than that, the seal is tight and doesn't let air in even after a week.

Great product

Very nice and easy to use. Holds vacuum with non problem. Size is what we were looking for too.

I bought three of these from you! one on Amazon and Two one here.
One of them has broken. It won’t hold the seal for more than an hour. I’m just wondering if there’s a way to fix it?
Thank you

Works so well!

Underwhelming

Huge fan of the Fellows Electric Tea Kettle. This product is brand eroding. Ostensibly according the SCG sales it is supposed to hold vaccum (with gradual decrease) for 3-5 days. In my case it is distinctly less than 24 hours for what is a tedious operation (turning the top clock and counter-clock wise about 15 times)

A good solution to preserve ground coffee aroma

I used to put ground coffee in a tight container and store it in the fridge to slow down coffee oxidation which causes the taste to become rancid. However, condensation also affected the grinds and the coffee taste. With Atmos, I can leave the grinds in a cool (but not cold place) and the ability to pump a lot of air out slows down oxidation and I get a much better espresso taste.Caution: you must keep the edges of the body and of the filter of Atmos clear of coffee dust.

Good stuff looks great

The canister looks great and is easy to use. It holds exactly one pound of beans and keeps them fresh.

Good product, works well. Seems well built. I think I would rather have the top just rotate instead of turn back and forth.

Terrific product

Very useful to protect coffee beans and keep them fresh, especially if we will be away from home for a few days.

This cannister is really worthy.

This is a top notch cannister for coffee beans. The design, which vacuum seals the product, works exactly as described. When the vacuum is released by opening the cannister, the coffee aroma is so strong and the beans are kept very fresh. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because of cannister size. This would hold 10 or 12 ozs of beans but not a pound. I buy my coffee beans in pound quantities from my favorite roaster so this cannister is a little self defeating for my usage. I ended up with anAirscape which is also a good product and holds a pound of beans. I do believe that the Atmos is better though.

Might have received defective copies.

Not sure if I got bad copies, but both of the canisters I received don?t operate as described. The lid mechanism to pull out air doesn?t work essentially. The seal from the rubber gaskets around the lid is such that I can lift the canister by the lid and the bottom doesn?t fall, so I assume no issue there. I inspected both the metal and paper filters in the lid and they seem to be fine. But no matter how much I twist the lid to remove air from the canister, nothing happens.

Great container could use an improvement.

It's a great container for beans, I think having a silicone grip at the top might make it easier and more comfortable to seal but idk if that would effect aesthetics or not.

Air Vacuum Loss with Canisters

I purchased 2 of the smaller canisters, one in black and the other in white. The problem I had was the canisters could not maintain airtightness for very long. After rotating the top back and forth, a little valve at the top of the canister turns green and that is how you know the air has been removed. Unfortunately, on both of my canisters, the little green indicator goes back to the color of the canister and air is reintroduced into the canister after a certain period of time. For the white canister, it was less than 24 hours. For the black, it was sometime within a few days. This is very unfortunate because I wanted a small canister for my espresso beans.

Looks great

Mine seems to only work some of the time. I noticed it was losing vacuum but chalked that up to beans off gassing. I saw a few others complain about it so I added some old beans I had around that i used to season a new grinder back in January. Sure enough, the next morning the indicator was popped up and the canister had air in it.

Second to Airscape

While this does vacuum seal fresh ground coffee for the next day, the amount of twisting needed is counterproductive to the design. I purchased both this and the Airscape vacuum container, as both had positive and negative reviews. Because this requires so much effort in twisting to "seal" in the coffee, we have decided to keep our beans in this jar and our few days of ground espresso in the Airscape. Another drawback here is that if you wash or submerge the top in water, it ruins the unit.

Optimum coffee bean storage

I had been using Airscape canisters but this is more effective in keeping coffee beans fresh even after 2 weeks. Plus it looks beautiful. Would go with the larger size. Easy to use to pump out all the air.

Sleek, useful, and a bit of a workout

I became increasingly dissatified with making my coffee each day from beans sitting in my Eureka Mignon's hopper. I found that it was taking me a couple of weeks to use all the beans. So I bought myself a single-dose grinder, and a small Atmos canister. I transferred my beans from the hopper to the canister. The Atmos looks and performs as advertised, and I find that it suits my needs. I do wish it came in more colors, though.Note that to evacuate the air, you have to twist the lid rapidly back and forth against increasing resistance. After some number of twists, a green indicator button snaps into view showing that a sufficient vacuum has been established. The twisting motion is not entirely natural, and requires a firm grip on both the top and bottom. Here, the canister's sleek design works against you. I manage OK with the extra bit of morning exercise, and do enjoy the product. But it might not be for you if you have arthritis, carpal tunnel, or just small hands.

Definitely happy

Love it! It lives up to my expectations. Feels well built and the vacuum feature seems to work well. I filled up the large canister and it takes about 20-25 twists to set the seal. Definitely recommend.

Atmosphere vacuum canister

Method of evacuating air is definitely effective but certainly is a bit time consuming. Looks good.

Just because it sucks, doesn’t mean it’s bad. Definitely Good Vacuum Here.

Atmos Vacuum Canisters X 2 work well, and complement the function of my Coffee Vac Containers. A great storage duo.

Great product!

I love this very simple yet extremely effective and neatly designed coffee bean container. It’s so satisfying to hear the pressure release sound when opening the canister. Nice job!

I have two of these (one for regular and one for decaf beans). Very easy to use, absolutely notice a difference in terms of keeping my coffee beans fresh. Also looks stylish on the counter. Highly recommend.

nice overall - check size

Nice container. I liked the small size but did not realize the inside was much smaller. Guess I should have measured how much I wanted to store. It does fit nicely where I want it, but now I still have coffee beans that are not stored properly. Good luck.

Looks great and very easy to wipe it dry due to its rounded bottom. Very easy to get a vacum seal also.

Good but the green indicator didn’t work long

The first time I used this - I turned the top until the little green indicator showed. After the first use, no matter how much I turn the top the indicator no longer appears. I know that it is vacuumed - because 1) I turn the top until I can’t turn it any more and, 2) when I push the button, you can hear a lot of air getting sucked in. So my experience is that the green indicator is a single use item. However, I can tell when I have reached a good amount of vacuum so that doesn’t bother me. I haven’t done a test to see if I could tell the difference between coffee stored in this container and that stored in a bag, I’ll just trust those with better taste buds than mine to tell me that is so. Bottom line I needed a coffee container and this seems like a good choice and works for me. I went with the smaller container and am glad that I did. Pumping out a large container when it’s almost empty would be a chore.
