Very nice scale, high quality, accurate and fast. It is a little big to sit on an the Diletta Alto drip tray, but it works just fine. I wanted to get one I could do pour over with as well and this is perfect.The OLED screen looks great.
A $200 scale that frequently fails to actually measure anything is unacceptable.I have owned this scale for almost a year, and the problem has worsened over time. It did not arrive obviously broken. Instead, it has gradually become more inconsistent, to the point where it now often fails to register added coffee grounds at all.As shown in the attached video, I add coffee grounds to the scale and the displayed weight does not change. When this happens, the automatic water calculation feature is useless because the dose was never measured.In real use, this forces me to guess mid brew or dump the grounds into another container and back again, hoping the scale works this time. This morning it failed three times in a row.For comparison, the scale I used previously has never had this issue. It consistently measures weight, which already makes it a better brewing tool.This is not a simple out of the box defect that can be fixed with a replacement. It is a reliability problem that develops with use. At this price point, that is unacceptable.
Great scale, works wonderfully both for dosing my beans for espresso, and the brew assist mode makes preparing a pour-over as effortless as it's ever been!
