This stuff is amazing. A concentrated soak will remove coffee anything from whatever needs a clean.

I've been using it for a weekly soak of the "group" (the grounds basket), which gets really foul-smelling very quickly. It softens up the stuff enough so I can scrub it clean. I have not tried a backflush yet. The product is caked, very hard, so I have to scrape it with a knife to get enough loose to get into a measuring spoon. I am wondering about the storage conditions...

this stuff is great! but mostly i use it to clean vases after the flowers are done! any old jars soak clean after a good soak!

It's good stuff but make sure it doesn't get exposed to moisture in its container. That happened to me once before and it turned almost to rock. I had to pry it our with a screwdriver. Bur as a backflush of my Rancillio it works very well.

This product works great as a clearer for my juicer parts. It is important to keep the juicer screen clean with all the tiny holes in the screen open so the juice can flow through unobstructed. I heat this product up slightly in a stainless steel pan to then soak juicer parts in.

Besides keeping your espresso machine clean, it will make your thermos look like new inside. After brewing my morning coffee I always transfer it to my thermos. After six months the interior was coated with oils from the coffee even though I thoroughly rinsed it after use. I used a 1/4 tsp and added a cup of some hot tap water. I put the cap on the thermos and gave it a good shake to dissolve the Joe Glo. I let the solution sit for five minutes, gave it another good shake and then poured it out. I couldn't believe the crud that came out. Repeated this procedure again and then gave the thermos a thorough rinse. The interior came out looking like new. So even if you don't have an espresso machine this is fantastic for cleaning your coffee thermos.

You got have this one ! Works great , my Rocket is used quite heavily and the detergent works great .

Works as advertised and does well. My only suggestion is, after the first pull, mix the hot water and detergent left in the basket so that it more easily goes through the machine. Otherwise you might be left with undissolved, unused detergent in the basket.

Joe Glo made parts of my espresso machine and French press look like new. I wish I'd known about this product before. It really is a value and pleased me. I will be ordering more in the future.

I waited too long to get the right tools to keep my machine clean. Joe Glo, a brush and a blind basket. So cheap, and the results are spectacular. Joe Glo doesn't do a great job at descaling - could be how long I waited to descale my machine. But with regular use from day one, I bet it would help keep scale to a minimum. Get a brush that has a measuring spoon for Joe Glo on the end, and the blind 58mm basket fits on the lid of the Joe Glo (it doesn't get lost in my drawer!). I bought this product to back flush my Rancilio Silvia and it does a great job. I have been trying to find a product to clean my stainless steel coffee travel mug. I tried this product and within a few minutes I rinsed it out and all the stains were gone and for the first time it looks like new. No scrubbing, just add 1 1/2 teaspoon Joe Glo to your 16 oz mug with some hot water. Wait a few minutes and rinse. I had my espresso machine for over a year of use and never cleaned it. I didn't realize how much of an effect all that gunk and oil in there can make. Immediately after using this stuff the espresso turned out much much better than before and the machine produced a perfect 'puck' of grounds rather than the soupy grounds I used to have.
