Overview

The Kalita Wave filters are made out of the highest grade filter paper around and the design allows the filter to be slightly suspended above the bottom of the Kalita Wave coffee dripper. This helps funnel water contact away from the outer wall of the dripper. Careful with your rinsing and pouring. The wave shape must be maintained with a gentle directional pour or the filter sides will collapse and you lose the Wave advantage. Pre-soak the filter in place for best results.

Pack of 100 white filters - The 155 Wave dripper is optimized for brewing a single-serving of brewed coffee. We recommend this dripper for 1-2 tablespoons of coffee, yielding 12-16 ounces of brewed coffee.

Pack of 100 white filters - The 185 Wave dripper is for when you need that venti size coffee. Try 2-3 tablespoons of fresh ground coffee and ideally your yield will be approximately 16-26 ounces of brewed coffee.

Kalita
Kalita offers one of the most trusted drippers in the world of pour over: the Kalita Wave. This Japanese manufacturer started by producing paper coffee filters in 1958 but soon went on to produce a wide range of Japanese coffee makers and accessories. Now, the Kalita Wave line of pour-over coffee drippers is one of the most beloved tools in pour over brewing. Seattle Coffee Gear is happy to offer these popular drippers, plus Kalita’s proprietary filters and servers as well.

Happy to find filters for my small Kalita stainless pour-over.

I like these filters though I might try the larger size ones next time. A reviewer said the larger ones maintain their crease better. Perhaps, though, the larger ones, allowing a larger pour at a time, might not work as well as more shorter pours. ?

Ride the Wave

The filters are great I use them with the Origami dripper. Very fast shipping too!

155

These filters are designed to work together with the Kalita pour-over cone. The quality of the pour-over coffee is better with them than with other filters, especially if dampened beforehand. And, price-wise, ordering in #100 bulk is the best way to go.

The filters are too small! They work just fine, I'm making a single cup at a time, but I didn't see (or overlooked) any indication that these were for a mini Kalita.

So so filters

Filters are ok, but they kind of stretch out when you wet with hot water and they are pricey. And you can't buy them at a store locally.

155 Kalita Wave filters

The 155 Kalita Wave coffee filters are hard to find. Glad you finally had them in stock!

Too small, only white option and no return policy

Way too small for my Kalita holder (size 155). So can not use either of the two packs purchased. Company would not take returns even on an unopened pack. Will go back to Amazon for my usual filters that are brown and larger.

The best and good pricing.

Kallita white filters are ok

They are fine. Would prefer if they were not bleached which I assume they are, hence white color.

The filters work fine. Despite watching several videos on Seattle Coffee Gear?s site, this method of making coffee is way overrated. Perhaps we?re just spoiled by espresso. A pour through just ain?t cutting it for even what we consider a nice strong cuppa joe.

Need these for OXO 8 Cup

I bought these to go with my OXO 8 Cup drip coffee maker. You need this size filter for the 2-4 cup option, and they fit and work perfectly. You would think paper filters are all the same, and that the Kalita Waves are "just another paper filter," but these are different. They have a smaller base, with larger waves (yes, as in Kalita WAVES), the material seems slightly thicker, and there is no odd taste from these filters. I speak as a person who used a french press for over 10 years, and who has chosen the above mentioned machine as my first automated coffee maker. I bought these from Seattle Coffee Gear specifically because I trust that I am getting the item advertised, and because they are awesome people from an cool company that has taught me more about coffee from their YouTube channel. These filters make me want to try the Kalita Wave dripper thing, but I would have to hide that purchase because we supposedly do not need a million coffee makers in the house.

The Seattle Coffee Gear is a 5 star operation.

The item is what it is - Kalita wave coffee filters - specialty - that are hard to find. Seemed to be available upon ordering. Unfortunately, they ended up as back ordered. 5 star review is for the customer service to inform me, personally, let me choose to continue the wait, and keep me posted as to ship info and date. I really like supporting local.

Worth the price!

The filters work great. Just a bit shorter than the Kalita wave 185 filters I normally use. The bottom seems a bit smaller as well. I would use them again for the price. The other Kalita wave filters I normally buy almost doubled in price. So these work for the price I paid.

Works great with Oxo glass dripper

These work perfectly with our Oxo Glass Coffee Dripper (Oxo has stopped making the filters). A great find.

To me, this is the best pourover dripper and I have them all. I learned on a Hario V. 60 but I find that this dripper gives a much more balanced cup and yes I know how to use the V.60. The 155 is perfect for one cup of coffee. I use a ratio of 16:1 (16 gm of water to one gm of coffee.) The grind for the Wave is akin to that of a French Press so if you’re like me and like a French Press as well you don’t have to change the grind settings. I use a water temperature of 194º because it makes for a brighter cup. If you are going to make it for two then I would suggest getting the Kalita 185 Wave Dripper.

They're filters, and they filter!

If you own a Kalita Wave and you like Seattle Coffee Gear, this is a no-brainer. Does not ship in the cool red/yellow box if that matters to you.

13 cents per filter for 185ml size

work great. I rinse the filter by pouring hot water right in the middle like instructed and it doesn't mess up the waved sides. Cost is reasonable. Need to buy them online as they aren't widely available.

no problems here

If you're using the kalita, you need these filters. The first review said they lose their shape, and they can, unless you follow this one easy step. When you first get them, take a pack of them, and store them inside a coffee mug . this will keep them tight, and hold their shape. When you pour water in to rinse the filter, don't rise the sides, just pour heavy right in the middle, the water level will rise, and keep the filters shape perfectly. You get 100 for around 10 bucks, which is 10 cents each. Not bad if you ask me.

Don't hold their shape

1/2 the time when you put them in the filter basket they don't hold their shape. I end up throwing away 1/4 of them because they fold inwards and all over the place. So annoying.

Do what they say!

Fits my Kalita Wave SS dripper perfectly; cost more than filters that don't fit (i.e. the ones I can pick up @ my local grocery) but the nice fit adds to the coffee experience, which is, after all, what it's all about! These filters meter the flow perfectly IMHO for a great cup of pour over.
