not easy

With an otherwise brilliant machine, the GS3, this Breakaway Spout is not easy to deal with. If it comes off for any reason, and it will come off, it is very tough to reattach it securely. Even when it seems you've got it connected correctly it is not secure. There is a rubber gasket that seems to prevent a good secure connection. Unfortunately I feel I have to purchase another portafilter with a spout that is solidly attached. This one keeps coming loose. No fun.

Poor design

I have used La Marzocco products for 24 years and they have finally made a mistake in their new designed portafilter. The new Breakaway spout is a pain! It constantly falls off and is extremely difficult to put back in its proper fitted space due to the annoying rubber gasket. The stainless idea was great, but why design a spout that is not securely attached? So you can clean it? Not!
