Gran Crema is a bit too strong alone in espresso shots for me. I am blending it 50/50 with the Espresso Italiano which results in more mild shot. Not an issue in milk based drinks, which are my drink of choice. Alone the shots taste is a little burnt and a little bitter but not that acidic or sour. A half and half mix results in a lot more cocca taste with just a touch bitterness and no acidity in espresso shots. Beans are not that oily, just a hint of sheen. Using a Miele superautomatic.
This has become my go-to espresso blend. Consistently smooth and rich every kilo.
Not the best coffee. Comes to watery out, almost no cream. Kind of disappointing from Lavazza. Run it couple of times on different settings, got the same result every time. Wouldn’t buy it again.
The two best things I like about LavAzza: Flavor, Variety, Availability. Okay, that's three, but who's counting?
Rich crema, great tasting makes my morning Americano much more tasteful.
Great Medium to dark flavor with a hint of mocha …
Love = Love = it! Great Crema
This is a great coffee. As a medium roast it has a very good and strong flavor. A double espresso starts my day and this is my new favorite to start my morning. Excellent crema too.
There's a reason why this is the #1 Lavazaa in America, and that is the taste! Although it is a little pricey, it's definitely worth giving it a try, you won't regret it!
For a medium roast, it has a great taste. It is slightly darker than most medium roast coffees. My automatic espresso machine will occasionally clog up with this coffee.a
We're waiting until our other Lavazza blends have been consumed to try ,and review, this one. Ask again later.
