This roast is great, really robust.
We have been using Lavazza Oro for many years in 2 different super automatic machines. It's always smooth and the flavor is great - never harsh. We have tried a few other brands, but always return to Lavazza Oro.
This LaVazza has a very strong grapefruit note from the beginning to end. I tried different grind sizes, thinking I may have been over or under extracting. This is 100% Arabica, so I took a chance. I like the Qualita Rossa much better.
Lavazza Crema E Aroma was my old favorite, but this has just replaced it.
Light roast, ideal for super auto machines, good, smooth but lasting flavor.
my go-to for the best brew
Best coffee ever! Prompt delivery at a fair price! Thank you Seattle Coffee Gear!
Is this really Espresso? It doesn't say that on the picture and I didn't think Oro was espresso.
Yes, this is an espresso bean. An espresso bean is one that can hold up to the pressure that is required for espresso. The name of the blend is just that, a name.
How long will 2.2 lbs stay fresh in this bag? Thanks
Because Lavazza utilizes a nitrogen flush on their beans before they are sealed, the beans will stay fresh for months in their bags unopened. However, once they are open and exposed to oxygen, you will want to use them as quickly as possible, as they will start staling.
