Lavazza Super Crema is a very rich expressio that tastes fantastic. A dry bean perfect for our Sarco Incanto??
Love, love, love the Super Crema. I have yet to find anything close. Shots are consistent with every pull. Buy a bag, you won't be disappointed.
Very convenient way to receive coffee beans at a readinable orice.
Smooth full body coffee, with a hint of chocolate.
Good crema but a little bitter for my tastes. Still a good coffee and my preferred one from Lavazza
Second only to post alley
Excellent crema, works well alone, also augments other beans in home made blend.
This is my go to for espresso, americanos, and lattes. Freshness is key. SCG is able to deliver fresh beans. Thanks.
Used my Bialetti to brew. Lavazza Super Crema gave me a tasty but not bittter strong morning cup. So nice!
Smooth and not bitter
Perfect bean. Smooth and creates a rich crema.
Amazing coffee. Full bodied and amazing Crema. Its name certainly expresses the superb flavor and texture you will experience. Well worth the spend.
The coffee was good but not strong.
After reading All the good reviews and looking at the brand, I bought a 2.2 lb bag. But after making the first cup with the beans, I was very disappointed on the taste and the quality of the beans. Flavor was weak and the beans felt old. They are not expired and really don't know why taste bad ; (!! Just buyer and seller be aware!
A medium roast with a nice flavor. Pours a nice shot in my Barista Pro coffee maker
It has great flavors but also fantastic thick crema (sp?) on top that doesn't go away.
One of the best brands on the market- quality=price
I've been a Peet's French Roast addict for years. This Italian dark roast is less oily, and just as deeply satisfying. Amazingly, it costs less.
Perhaps one of the smoothest espresso around. I was skeptical buying such a large quantity but I?m glad I did. A great afternoon treat treat with no bitterness that won?t leave you up all night.
Great coffee, rich crema, my favorite espresso bean. Arrived quickly, well packaged and at the best price I've been able to find recently.
I thought it was awful, threw it away. I am a big fan of the Lavazza Espresso Italiano beans and based on what I read, I thought this would be great. I brewed it twice and decided it had to go. I don't even recall the exact flavor profile, but I knew I would not drink any more, kinda sad to throw thirty dollars in the trash. I'm sure many folks love this but I did not.
I have ordered these beans in the past and they were very good. I ordered more and the beans were very stale and old. I could not get a good shot out of them. I was very disappointed.
THE GOAT. Nice crema, no bitterness, just plain nice. Espresso 10/10, Cap 10/10, Latte 10/10
We have been drinking LaVazza Super Crema Espresso since we got our Saeco Super Automatic in 2003 after a trip to Italy. LaVazza is so smooth and has that wonderful coffee aroma, it?s hard to stop with just one.
I had the SCG single origin subscription for the past year or so and I thought I would change it up by going for the "Super Crema". I am now on my third bag (and I won't be ordering another). I can tell you with great confidence that the name "Super Crema" is a misnomer. During my bi-weekly single origin subscription over the course of a year or so, I've pulled thousands of shots, dark to light roasts, and for the vast majority of them, I've managed to get a healthy crema. Not so for the "Super Crema". After going through three 2.2 lbs bags, varying doses, brew ratios, temps, etc., I still get shots with little to no crema. So, it's back to a single origin subscription for me. Perhaps it is the fact that SCG ships you bags of "Super Crema" that were roasted nearly 6 months ago or more, whereas the single orign subscription, the bags typically were roasted a week or so ago. Not sure. But, whatever the case, it is not "Super Crema" and I wish someone would have told me that three bags ago. So, I'm doing it for you. You've been warned.
Balanced profile that is smooth and has a nice amount of crema when brewed in a Philips 4300 super automatic machine. The flavors don't stand out as being too sharp or bland and seems to work well as a mixed drink base, straight espresso shot and long pours such as coffee or cafe crema.
