This is well made, the bar fits snugly in place, won't fall out. But beware, the diameter is 5.5", NOT 5" as stated on Seattle Coffee Gear's web site. I really wanted a knock box no bigger than 5", so I'm debating returning it now.

solid knockbox. looks great and large enough to only have to empty it every few days.

great, we like it: easier to clean and removes the tendency for some family members who shall remain unnamed to scoop out the old grounds with a spoon, which messes up the rubber gasket.

I got this for another person, but I was specifically told to buy this particular Knockbox even thought there were others that were less expensive. I was told it was because of how well it worked and was made.
