In the coffee world, the Mazzer grinder is truly beloved. Mazzer was founded by Luigi Mazzer, who produced his first grinder using heavy-duty parts in the 1950s. Featuring stepless adjustment for infinite grind settings plus powerful motors and steel burrs, Mazzer grinders are true workhorses that you’ll see in many bustling coffee shops. They’re known for producing consistent, flavorful coffee and espresso grounds time and again, so they’re ideal for commercial applications. Mizzer Gears Improve your shots!

Mimi Mizzer gears were a few years old for my home grinder. For a small investment I helped my shot quality 100%. Be sure to tighten the grind before you put beans in a give it a try.

Oh what a grind!

What a difference my new burrs made to the grind perfection and consistency of my espresso beans. If your espresso is pouring out at times and barely dripping st other times it could be that you, too, need to replace your grinder’s burrs.

Transformational

I bought the Mazzer Burrs to install in my Kitchen Aid Pro Line Grinder. You must also use Ben Choong's Modification Kit found on YouTube. I really like the KA grinder and the Mazzer Burrs transform it into a superb machine. The stainless steel burrs in the KA are not anywhere near the quality of the Mazzer. Now the KA grinds beans to Talc on the finest setting and adds greater adjustability to dailing in espresso grinds. Fantastic Combination.

smooth

Rather than the sometimes on-line grind, this transaction was handled quickly and smoothly. The burrs were so easy to install, I installed them twice. Once blindfolded. If you have a Mazzer mini, do yourself a favor, get those old burrs out. You will taste the difference.

My Old Burrs Retired to Landfill

SeattleCoffeeGear provided the genuine article and the right size. Mazzer Mini E grindes are suseptible to bootlegs and substitution to a more agressive grind that fits but designed for more powerful grinders. None of that happend with SeattleCoffeeGear. I received the burrs so fast they must have put it out for delivery the same day I added it too my cart. Fantastic all the way around!Pros:The absloute right size, Genuine ArticleCons:

Like getting a new grinder

Easy to install (only can go on one way really) and good excuse to give your Mazzer a good cleaning while you're at it. Everyone should replace these every couple of years (home user.. shops probably more often)Pros:Easy To Use, Commercial GradeCons:

Would these fit on my compak k3? I know comapk k3 uses 58mm burr.

John D.

Sorry...don't know as I've never had a Compak grinder. Plus, the screw-holes in the Mazzer burrs would have to match the Compak's exactly.

I am not 100% certain. I can tell you that if you order them and install them, be sure to tighten down the setting so that they are very tight and close first and then loosen them up to adjust the grind. If you start out loose and then attempt to tighten them up you will have a mess of chunks of beans and it will be difficult to make adjustments. I had to take the burs out of the Grinder and start over when I installed the burs.

The image shows four burrs, I assume a top and a bottom. Does this price include all four burrs?

ben

No. Only one set, which is 2 pieces.

Presumably both 58mm and 64mm burrs are shown. You do not need both. Determine your model type, or measure your burrs. I have had my Mini Mazzer Manual for almost 20 years, and replace my burrs every several years. Best to measure your burrs because if you purchased your grinder resale, the previous owner might have changed burr size. Some years ago, I recall that was a fad, which I did not buy into; however, I did buy an external timer that my Mini Mazzer plugs into. I set the timer to grind the proper amount of coffee beans. These grinders last forever; others have more “bells and whistles”, but not necessarily better if you know what you are doing.

Hi, when I purchased new burrs for my Mazzer Mini E from SCG, the order came with two burrs, that is a compete set. The Mazzer grinders use two burrs, one on the top and one on the bottom. I'd suggest you watch a YouTube video on changing burrs. It is a simple job, but worth watching someone else do it first. Just search on YouTube and videos should come up. Also know you should have a tube of food-grade grease on hand when you change burrs. You should put a little grease on the threads of the chrome ring used to retain the burrs in place. I add a touch of grease to the threads whenever I dismantle the grinder for cleaning, or to change the burrs. Petrol Gel, is one brand of lubricant.

looking to replace our burrs on our Mazzer Super Jolly Mini. The burrs have a number on the back that says 0033 m. Not sure which replacement burrs to order? Thank you. Vickie

Michele B.

Your grinder should be either a Super Jolly or a Mini. There is no "super jolly mini" You'll need to clarify which machine you have, or at the least, measure your burrs. The sizes are as follows: Mazzer Mini: 58mm burrsMazzer Mini Electronic Type A: 64 mm burrsMazzer Mini Electronic Type B: 64mm burrsMazzer Super Jolly: 64mm burrs

I have a mazzer mini electronic type A. I've notice that some are using the super jolly burrs as an upgrade to the mazzer mini e burrs. Is this something that would improve its function?

Bill R.

Sorry, but the Super Jolly 64mm burrs DO fit the 64mm Mazzer Mini...the difference is the SJ burrs have a more aggressive tooth pattern than the Mini's, so it's not identical THAT way. The concern was would using SJ burrs cause the Mini to "work harder" (more wear & tear over time) or not. Don't know. But for sure people DID replace their Mini's burrs with SJ burrs. As for me, I haven't gone that route, will keep the OEM burrs for my Mini Type A...

Michele B.

I'm not aware of people playing Frankenstein on their Mazzers and it's not something I recommend as the burrs are different sizes and may not fit or function properly. In short answer, no.

Are they sold in pairs?

Michele B.

You receive one top burr and one bottom burr.
