Overview

A sturdy insulated stainless carafe holds up to 1.7L of brewed coffee, while the included #4 pour over cone lets you brew directly into by hand or with a compatible drip coffee maker like the Bonavita. Set also includes a spill-proof lid with thumb latch for serving and travel. Compatible with any #4 cone filter.
Melitta
Legendary German-based coffee filter brand Melitta was founded in 1908 by a housewife named Melitta Bentz in Dresden, Germany. Melitta is credited with inventing the first coffee filter in 1908. This innovative filter design allowed for a larger filtration area, which meant improved extraction. Does not hold 1.7L

Works as expected, however the text specifying its features says it can hold "up to 1.7L of brewed coffee" This is erroneous. It should be labeled as holding a maximum of 42oz which is 1.24 L.

Great coffee maker!

Very happy with this purchase! Makes a great cup of coffee and stays hot for a good 2hrs. Love making a pour over that is large enough for two people.

Contemporary design, makes delicious coffee

Quality in every way, on every level. The stainless steel double walked carafe holds the heat; a good amount of pour over coffee can be made & held in this carafe.

Heat Retention and Non-Breakage

Works well. I'm using Chemex FSU-100 natural filters for larger pots of 48 oz. It handles it well though only rated for 42 oz. I transitioned from the open glass Chemex for safety reasons, I broke one, and for better heat retention.

How long will it keep the coffee hot?

I fill with hot water from the tap, while I’m getting everything else ready. Coffee stays hot for a good 2hrs, can’t attest to anything longer than that. Makes a great cup of coffee!

I agree with preheating the inside first makes it stay hot longer. Even hot tap water will make a difference. About 3 hours is what I've gptten.

If you get the inside hot before you brew (fill with boiling water and let it sit for a minute) then brew your coffee it stays hot for 3-4 hours.
