Fits the eagle one prima perfectly and IMHO it looks and feels better than the 300 dollar heavy leather clad one that comes with the machine. Its lighter on the hand and feels more comfortable to grip. This is also the best bang for your buck, i have searched all other major coffee sites and couldn?t find a better deal. i very very happy with this purchase.

Works perfectly for what I wanted. Use in the Oscar ii, no leaks or anything. Easy to grip, gets the job done. Recommended.

While it does technically work for the Oscar I, it is noticeably smaller than the portafilters that come with the machine. If you don't crank it hard past perpendicular then it will leak around the seal. It's an annoyance, but it still works. That being said, if it's sputtering and squirting coffee all over the place, your grind is off; it has nothing to do with the portafilter

Bought from SCG through Amazon. No complaints about the portafilter itself, works beautifully on my NS Oscar I, and at a reasonable price. I don't use my spouted portafilters anymore, they stay on the shelf in favor of this one.Question, though: What is the specified capacity and diameter of the included triple basket? The basket feels like it might be sized for 22 or even 24g? 20g dose has to be distributed and leveled well below the rim pre-tamping, though my grinder is also leaving things pretty clumpy (need to upgrade, haha). 58.0mm aftermarket tamper seems undersized to boot.

I either received a defective one, or this portafilter isn't designed to be universally fitted for all 58mm Nuova Simonelli machines, as it always leaks/sprays water from between my portafilter and the grouphead of my Oscar 2. I tightened this extremely tight, and it still sprays. I do not have this issue using the spouted portafilter that came with the machine, using the same coffee and grind settings. I'm thinking I should return this since this product doesn't function or fit as advertised... and I think I'll have to pay for shipping it back. Completely upset at this product.

Seriously, these, paired with a VST basket is what you should be using. Who splits shots anymore ? Everything we serve is a double, so I have no reason for a splitter. Also when using a split basket, you shut it off, some will still be in it that will run out, so your out grams will be off if you're pouring onto a scale. These are also way easier to clean , and you can watch tiger striping and when it forms one stream.
