Does not fit

Did not fit my Nuova Simonelli Oscar II

Jonathan C. review photo Jonathan C. review photo

Hi Jonathan, just so you're aware, that Oscar II has a pod adapter installed, which is why this portafilter did not fit. If you have the original screen you can remove the pod adapter, without that, this machine will only work with pod-based filters. Stock Oscar IIs do work with this portafilter. Thanks!

The filter is very tight and does not seem to fit that well. We are making it work, but have to be careful.

Great Addition for Making Lots of Espresso Drinks

One of the things that helps make a large number of espresso drinks fast is an extra portafilter. Ever since I started my home barista journey, my family and friends have started wanting drinks as well. With two portafilters, I can prep two drinks at the same time and get all the drinks done faster. Nuova Simonelli Portafilters are very well made and well worth the price if you need either a replacement unit or an extra unit to make lots of drinks fast.

We have a Nuova Simonelli espresso machine with the serial number 157428 and the handle on the portafilter is braking. We tried once before to replace the handle, but the replacement handle we got did not fit the existing handle. It looks like we will have to replace the whole handle. Will this portafilter replacement fit our machine?

When do you need to replace the Portafilter?

Pierre C.

The inside of the portafilter show uses part we see the laiton on some part. His toxic to continue to do coffee in that condition.

I have this portafilter, but the "spring" that keeps the basket in place is lost so my basket falls out constantly. Does this replacement portafilter include the spring?
