Not very good, did not do the job. The tip is too smooth and it would not grab onto the plastic sealer. The flat part of it is too thick and it cant open the filter to clean. Maybe I?ll modify it in some way. As is is no go.

Make sure it fits eqpt

The tool itself is pretty well made. Unfortunately, for my Rocket Appartamento, it's not very useful, except for prying out the basket from the porta-filter.

They need one with larger wrenches

Love the idea of this, but only two of the 6 tools are useable on our Rocket R58 — the screwdriver to pop the filter and the pick to pull the brew head / gasket. All the actual wrenches on this are too small.

Cannot believe this tool doesn't have hundreds of reviews. It snaps the portafilter right out. ...

This tool is indispensable!

Bench this wrench

Useless on my rocket although the bottle opener did open bottles.

Is this useful for 58mm portafilter and E61 group heads sizes?

Will this work on the Breville 54mm portafilters?

So would this be useful for a Rancilio Silva? I believe the steam tips can come off the Silvia and then maybe I can use the steam tip brush to get up inside the steam wand for cleaning?

Greg H.

Works fine on an old CMA Rio and Brasilia Portofine. Takes the wand heads off just fine.

Wow, your question gave me ideas. I don't think that was the purpose of your question. Thank you anyway. I'm off to clean my machine

I dont know if it is just me but I cant get the steam tip off with it. I have been using an adjustable wrench with a rag so I don't scratch the tip. Good for group head maintenance nonetheless. Good luck.

Hi Dave, I use the wrench for taking the basket out of the portafilter after preheating Silvia just prior to putting fresh ground espresso beans into thebasket. I also use the wrench for removing and replacing the screw that holds the brew head screen in place for cleaning. I have not used the wrench on the steam tip.I have not used the Pallo brush on the steam wand.I use the Pallo brew head cleaning brush after each shot to clean thebrew head gasket and screen while activating the brew switch.Hope that gives some info that is useful.PB
