As roasters, their approach is to fully develop and caramelize the sugars hiding in coffee without developing ashy or smoky flavors. Very sour in a superautomatic, unfortunately

Wasn't my taste. I'm going to try to be fair here. I am normally a dark roast lover but I do like columbian medium roast as well. I have a superautomatic machine and maybe this coffee is just not suited for that type of brewing, but it was extremely sour. I tried different settings on my machine, grind, strength, shot size etc. I could not get the sour snap calmed down to where it was enjoyable for me. It did look like a light roast. Not sure if its just the batch I got but the beans were very light in color. So, I would skip this one if you have a superautomatic unless you really love sour cherry citrus notes. But coffee is very subjective, so if you love a more sour citrus coffee, this would be it.
