I think is the best designed espresso machine. Being able to grind fresh roasted beans and make so many different drinks is the best. My spouse and I can have different default settings to fit individual preferences. The refurbished machine we bought started leaking soon after we got it. The seller quickly sent us a new water reservoir, which eliminated the leak. We are very happy with our purchase.
Milk doenst "froth" much unless its whole milk. Its easy to use and keep clean.
Easy to fill beans and water, simple to clean and use. Tray design is ok - I would prefer the chrome top went together a little better but I'm nitpicking. Makes great coffee!

Good machine, very intuitive to use, and produces quality drinks. Only complaint is the volume of beverage dispensed for milk based drinks is very low, and only fills up one half a mug even with the volume setting max'd out. So you end up having to brew two drinks to get one mug of coffee.

You don't need to choose a Latte setting like they answered here. There is a "milk froth" feature in "other drinks" that you can select; it just puts the milk into your cup.
Yes, after choosing a Latte Machiato, let the milk go through the intial step of depositing frothed milk , then as it finishes that cycle , hit the cancel button to stop the rest of the Machiato cycle from continuing.
Yes - after powering up, use the attachment and enter the More Drinks menu, choose Milk Froth.
