Outstanding product.

I strongly prefer this Portafilter to the standard double basket - straight walls I think are better for coffee distribution, and I like the triple capacity (25 g grind optimum instead of just 16 g for the double). Super easy cleaning. The attached photo shows the OCD distribution tool I also bought from SCG and an inexpensive distribution funnel that fits right on top of the basket. The whole setup makes for a very reproducible result. I’m very happy I bought the bottomless.

This is heavy and solid just like the ones used in commercial machines. It comes with a triple basket and I am able to put 23 grams of coffee. It gives me super concentrated brew and it's so good!

Allows you to use larger baskets and to make sure your distribution technique is good. plus fun to watch the espresso come out the bottom

Very good quality portafilter with a nice heavy weight to it. Holds heat well which helps in espresso extraction. The only thing I did not like is the cap at the end of the handle with the rancillio logo. I expected the logo to be part of the rubber handle and to have the same level of quality but instead the logo looks like its a 3D printed plastic cap added to the tip of the handle. For this reason I give it three stars.

Perfect OEM fitment. Works well with 18g basket. Love that it doesnt leak on the counter between shots like spouted portafilter. Easy to keep clean and dry.

Since I requested the original dual-spouted porta filter to be loosened, it drips water from the brew head. That is why I purchased the bottomless and it works fine. Not the full-tilt oozing of crema Hollywood experience but that could be addressed later.

Nice and holds big dose baskets. Helps you raise your dosing game.

It is very easy to clean and easier to tamp without damaging the counter. This shows you if there is channeling or not unlike most portafilters. I just need to remember to use the two-shot basket and not the three-shot most of the time because otherwise it changes how much weight I need for the coffee.

Once I got used to a different tamping style, I loved this portafilter and would never go back. It's so much easier to keep clean!

Really an excellent value. This is my first bottomless but even if others are slightly heavier I would opt to buy this again and use the savings on upgrading baskets.

It is a good (not great) quality bottomless portafilter, but Seattle Coffee Gear has made a mistake. This is NOT a stainless steel portafilter. It is a chrome plated brass. Rancilio does make a much nicer stainless steel one, but it costs $150.

Solid quality. It is exactly the same as the Rancilio OEM portafiilter only it is bottomless. For anyone on the fence about bottomless vs sticking with the OEM "double spout" portafilter, I strongly recommend jumping to the bottomless with a triple basket.

Very satisfied with this name brand port-a-filter. It demonstrates a dual purpose for my use. One of course is shows if your shot is channeling or not. I purchased Timemore gram scale which is some what thick but because of the bottomless allows for taller cups or mugs in terms of my Rancilio Silvia.

Great portafilter. I use this all the time. It's my goto ahead of my normal filter. I can get around 24 grams in this compared to around 17 normally.

This works fine but the basket is not easily changeable. It would be nice to use the Strada basket with the bottomless portafilter.

This is my first serious espresso machine after 20years of my old seaco/starbucks OG POS. The Silvia Pro with this portafilter has been Great! I?m learning so much, and my espresso is on point! SCG was super helpful answering all my questions and recommending just what I needed to get going.

Provides a much richer shot then the standard portafilter.Also holds more quantity of ground coffee.
