Perfect fitment to the OEM portafilter. Much easier to dial in than the 16g basket that came with my Silvia PID. Recomend using a dry filter paper in the bottom of the basket before dosing because some fine grounds do make it into the cup. Its not enough to be gritty, but enough to notice at the end of drinking a cup. This has been the best and most affordable upgrade in my journey.

Perfect size to bump up to.

Perfect fit for my Rancilio Silvia's portafilter which came with a 14g basket. The bump up in size makes it better for someone wanting higher volume double shots.

This basket is a must!

I am now finally able to pull fabulous double shots! Delighted to get beautiful crema out of my Filicori Zecchini beans( 20 grams). The original basket is way too small, for reference my portafilter is the original double spout model.

A big improvement for Mrs Silvia

This 18 gr basket is a big improvement over the 14 gr (2 shot basket) that comes standard with Mrs Silvia. The additional 4 grs can add a whole other level to your extraction. Highly recommended; the folks at SCG are very helpful!
