Care and Maintenance

For detailed care instructions, please refer to your grinder's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:

  • Clean burrs on a weekly to bi-weekly basis, either with a cleaning brush or a burr grinder-specific cleaning product, such as Grindz.
  • Remove and hand wash bean hopper and lid with warm soap and water as needed

The Original Lid

This is the same lid my Rancilio Silvia came with. There is a small stamp inside and it's the exact same unit. I purchased this to replace the original lid before drilling a hole in it to mount a floating shut off valve. It works like a charm.Kudo's to Seattle coffee gear for the fast shipping and great packaging.

OEM lid. Perfect fit for my Silvia V1.

Best price I found for an OEM Silvia water tank lid. Bought my Silvia cheap off Ebay used and with parts missing. One tank lid, two portafilter baskets, a grouphead gasket, and a $40 used portafilter, I've got a $300 Rancilio Silvia.
