While I so want to give this Rattleware Kncobox 5-stars as this is a great looking knockbox, that I use daily, the finish is only average, only 3-Star, especially for the money spent. While the box is solid and perfectly sized, the stain on the maple is inconsistent and "spotty" and the rubber feet are not only ever so slightly too big - which is live-able - the feet arrived askew and not well glued to the point I had to remove one and reapply before I could first use the box. I'm hoping the "fixed" foot remains attached. The metal and rubber box on the other hand are great; solid and square! It really is a nice knockbox, unfortunately, for the cost, the finish and feet knock this box to 3-stars for me.

Excellent to use and look at, but the little feet came off almost right away!

It was too large for my space so it was returned without a hassle, thank you SCG, and I purchased the Breville mini which works perfect for me!

Disappointed in the quality, especially for the price! The wood has noticeable drip stains on it from the finish. It does not sit level on the counter. One of the feet came off and I had to reglue it on. The metal box is nice and heavy at least.

Works great!! The metal interior/box was a little warped so not all 4 corners sat flush in the wooden exterior box. We tossed a little furniture bumper in there and it helped.

It's beautiful, well made and shipping was quick. Made our espresso bar look complete.

It?s big, well made and should last forever. I would have given it 5 stars but the base sits uneven on the counter so it rocks a bit.

Love it. So much quieter than old stainless knock ox! Bigger than I expected which turned out to be a good thing, because i don?t have to empty as often. Love it.

This looks nice and works as expected. The large capacity is a plus compared to what I had been using. It stays "put" - you don't have to hold it with one hand or chase it around the counter. Recommended.

Buy it!I bought this for the office 2 years ago. It is so solid that I was moved to write a review.It is used at least 10-15 times a day, 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year. It is as great as it was the day I bought it. We hand-wash the wood and metal and shows no signs of wear.It has a great solid thunk and feel when whacking the portafilter against the rubber bumpers.

It looks nice although in our application, it gets hidden. Big deal. Bottom line is it is quiet, stays put, and doesn't need to be emptied frequently....

The box is "sideways". If you consider the front is the most viewed piece, it should look the best. Unfortunately, this was made with the side pieces being longer, so you see the edges of these panels. It really doesn't look very good. The rubber rim on the knock box itself isn't exactly evenly applied, either.The build is solid, so it's still a step up from my Grindenstein knock box, even though the ergonomics of the Grindenstein were better (a swooped front prevents you from hitting your hand without angling your arm in a strange fashion).If I hadn't picked it up on sale, I'd be severely disappointed. My friends Breville is much more though for less money.

Almost too pretty to dump coffee grounds into, but I do anyway. Easy to clean and relatively quiet.

Very pleased with this knock box. Solid construction. (not rattley like others I've used) and it's just the right size. we're emptying it around once a week pulling four shots a day. Plus it looks good.highly recommend

This is a very solid knockbox that also looks good thanks to the Maple outer box. The inner box is very sturdy and I am glad I got the one with the square bumper because knocking the puck out with a tap on the handle is sometimes convenient. This is not a light-duty knockbox. It is well-made and sturdy, and also happens to be good-looking. You can get one cheaper, but probably not a better value. I'd buy this on again.Pros:Commercial GradeCons:
