Very solid construction and machining. Both sides of the tool work great, but I'm still trying to find the right adjustment that works for both ends at once. One or the other works great, just not both without adjusting the depth.

This is my #1 distro/tamper, I like everything about it and it stays locked where I set it. Perfect tamps always.

Really solid weight and well constructed. However, the tamper itself is just ever so slightly too small for my 58mm portafilter and thus leaves me with some slight untamped areas around the edges of my basekt

Previous we used tamper/distributor as separate tools for our machine and took a chance on all in one device. Main reason was to simplify the process as we have 3 people using machine with differing tampering pressure. It works for consistent distribution/tamping for pulling shots. Pros: easy to use, pretty intuitive adjusting depth/holds height after tightening, consistency in the processCons: comes with limited instructions which may require trial/error/a little research how to use/adjust, storage - one more thing laying around taking up space, sometimes requires two rounds of spinning with tapping between to get the coffee on sides down, not too much customization for those wanting a unique flavor shot (more dense/less dense/etc)

It ended up being the wrong size

This thing is beautiful, built solidly, and works great. I host small gatherings in my home on a monthly basis and as much as I love making espresso drinks for everyone, playing barista eventually detracts me from my other hosting duties. Along with grinder with a timer and a little instruction, this device allows my guests to make their own refills after the first round without having to develop their tamping skills.This accessory is not fully compatible with the the triple shot basket in the Rocket bottomless portafilter. It can do triple shots, but not singles or doubles in that basket.

I like both sides. The spinning sides levels the grinds and the tamper side works perfectly because of the weight and the adjustable height. I thought it was too expensive but now I think it was very worth the price

The Rocket Espresso Tamper Distributor is an excellent product. However, the package took 12 days from the order date until it arrived. This was an inconvenience, because the it was pronised to be delivered within 3 days, and we were expecting to use it over holiday week.

Good quality, heavy. Wish it was a little larger than 58mm to fit the basket better. Some of the grinds get stuck on the wall of the basket instead of being pushed down.

Works great, some guidance might be beneficial for mechanically inept... no problem here, threaded cylinder lock two nuts together when proper depth is achieved

I like it that it is tamper and distributor two-in-one. It enables consistent and even extraction. It works in tripe basket too.

Great quality. Finally, even consistent tamps every time! As far as the leveler, I found that the best practice was to first use a WDT tool and then I use the leveler to just even out the top layer. This method has given me very consistent extractions with no noticeable channeling. I would recommend this item.

It ain't cheap but works great and is a great space saver. I put my little dosing funnel on top of the filter basket and the Rocket in the funnel for a small counter footprint.
