I have really enjoyed the tamping station. It works great for the double or single portafilters. The one thing that is dislike is the pad in the tamp holder as I wish they would have used a rubber pad in there instead of the cheap foam, otherwise good quality.

This is a must for tamping the Rocket single portafilter evenly. Due to limited space, I needed the station to be portable and the base is too flexible to move every day, so I put the tamping station on a small cutting board. Now it is both functional and portable. Love it!

Nicely built and easy to clean. Works well with all portafilters I've tried. Could have got by using a bar mat and that's the only decision here - is it worth the cost to you? Build quality should ensure a good life span - durable and attractive. Rocket branded so matches my machine. Overall nice item that performs and blends in with the countertop setup.

With some of the mixed reviews, I wasn't sure if this would be worth it, but it is. Works great with Rocket Portafilters and provides a great platform for tamping. Cleaning is simple. Although some have raised issues with coffee grounds spilling and the platform being too flimsy and small, that is not the case with this current version. Plus it looks fabulous next to my Giotto. Would definitely recommend.

This looks nice - the Rocket look - but waht I really like is the footprint to hold the tamper and the stand in a tight space. A nice addition to the Appartamento (also a small footprint).

Realistically I purchased this because I bought a rocket machine for the price it does not live up to the expectations it’s very small, and it’s not really as functional as I would like it to be.Is it good looking absolutely and that’s why I gave it three stars because it’s very good looking but realizing how small it is I would’ve purchased something else, especially when you add in the fact that this was almost $100.

Great tool - makes espresso making a whole lotta' easier and mess free. Functions well, and looks great just like everything from the Rocket.

Shifts around alittle too much but overall very nice build

This station was a let down for me. First, all my tampers (I use all heavy 58mm flat) stick to the foam cushion on the round tamper rest, so when I grab my tamper, the round rest comes up with it. This is simply the result of suction from the foam used and flat surface of my tampers. When you have a portafilter in your other hand, this is very irritating, so I simply removed the tamper rest and rest my tamper directly on the round rubber cutout. A piece of double sided tape for the bottom of the tamper rest should help and Rocket should consider including this with future stations.The last issue I have is that the rubber mat that all the pieces sit on is a bit flimsy, so when I lift the station up to move it, things tend to fall apart and I have to reposition things back in place. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.I love Rocket (proud Evo Cellini V2 owner) and really wanted this station to be nice and worth the $85, but, in my opinion, it is not. For less than half the price you can get the simple Cafelat tamping stand, which SGC also carries.

I wanted this for a while, but was out of stock. I ordered as soon as I saw it available again. Looks really nice next to my machine. Nice match! The tamper well has a tendancy to fill with grinds, but is easily removed so you can knock it in your matching knock-box! This station is a great addition to my Rocket Giotto Evo. It's so much easier to tamp coffee especially using single sprout portafilter. Now the portafilter sits straight and leveled and it makes tamping like a breeze! It has been a mixed up with first shipment and I received a wrong item but SeattleCoffeeGear customer service (thanks a lot do Debi) has done superb job and send me the right one! Thanks a lot guys!
