Home espresso has a brand new look with the Certified Refurbished Saeco Xelsis superautomatic espresso machine. Front and center sits a bright, chrome-trimmed touchscreen that brings custom control to over 15 different drink options. Programming is done through responsive sliders for dose, temperature, shot length and preinfusion. Once set, drinks can be saved to multiple user profiles, so you'll never forget your favorite morning recipe. Lattes and Cappuccinos are similarly set up with additional options for milk texture and volume for a delightful morning treat. More than just its programming, the Certified Refurbished Xelsis also flaunts some of Saeco's best features: Auto-tracking water filtration; front-loading reservoirs and dump boxes; and easy access to the brew unit for cleaning and maintenance. The Xelsis' other claim to fame? I was a bit concerned purchasing the machine as a refurb. Most of tHe negative reviews focus on milk temp and service issues. Though I am less than a week into using the Xelsis, I find it to be a top-notch machine. I also own a Gaggia Cadorna Prestige. The looks = Amazing with a high-end stainless design. The touchscreen is flawless and easy to use. Very intuitive.The Performance = Holds a lot of beans. Brews a beautiful coffee. Froths a silky milk (really outstanding). Perfect temp for drinking. Quiet operation in comparison to my Gaggia.I would recommend this machine to anyone. It is an amazing machine and is a great addition to my home. The only flaw is it shipped without a filter. Pretty sure the contents included it before I ordered the machine, but 5 star equipment minus 1 because of the missing filter.
