Aesthetics and quality wise, this product is very nice. However, the knockbox part is not very well thought out in my opinion. The middle rubber part where you can rest the portafilter is centered within the circular knockbox, thus leaving an awkward gap around the "back part" of the half circle which doesn't make any functional sense as no coffee grounds would end up there unless you deliberately push them there with some other utensil, but that doesn't make much sense either. The gap between the front of the half circle and the edge of the knockbox where you should knock out the puck is also an awkward size. Even if I try to knock the very edge of the portafilter against the rubber half circle, some coffee grounds still end up on top of the rubber bit and make it dirty and not pleasant to use to tamp the next shot's coffee grounds. The actual usable knockbox space is very small and i can comfortably only knock out two, maybe three pucks. After that it feels like i should either break apart/redistribute the pucks already in there to make more space or just empty the knockbox. Moving the rubber half circle up against the back of the knockbox part would make much more sense to me. I'll keep using the product for tamper/distributor storage and tamping, but as a knockbox it's a dud.

The catching man could be a little larger compared to where the knocker is. Would probably work better if the rubber knocker was all the way to one side of the dish.

It looks pretty, but the knock box is messy. The design has the knock box suspended, which limits the pressure you can apply when you tamp and also limits your ability to knock out your espresso puck. It creates and mess. I after a few weeks of use. regret the purchase.

This product is compact, elegant, and does its job. I've been using it for more than a year. Highly recommended!

I like the look, finish and function. The box is a bit small and fills quickly.
