Super easy to use and supplied pieces provided options. During a kitchen remodel our contractor (also a regular Seattle Coffee Gear customer) used these components to plumb the Rocket R58 Cinquantotto we purchased from SCG. We added a shut-off valve and ran everything off of our existing refrigerator ice-maker water supply line. No hassles or adjustments.

It's tighter than you think

This kit does the job. The tee adaptor is 3/8" female compression for the input and 3/8" female compression for the output so you can insert it into an existing 3/8" sink feed. The press-fit connections and blue plastic tube are 1/4" OD, and the thread that connects to the rocket feed hose has some unknown thread that, if you put it in a vice and push real hard, you can get to thread into the hose and seal very well.

Can I connect this directly to the R58? I do not have the metal hose that came with the machine originally.

You who have plumbed in the Rocket Evo - what filter did you use? 3/8th? And did you add a a flow restrictor?

I used a Filtrete undersink in-line filter. Each one lasts about six months. There’s no flow restictor, but I have the shutoff valve that runs to the Rocket closed about 80% of the way. Still plenty of pressure to fill the boilers.
