Getting through

The part was fine. The difficulty was determining if it would be the actual part I needed -- the machine was old. After determining the company still made the machine, I found the part was available at Seattle Coffeegear. I tried to set up a chat to see if the part would fit. I could not make a connection. Emailed instead. It took a while, but somebody got back to me and told me the part was good. I was looking for service mainly. At Seattle Coffeegear I got it. Needed some patience. But it came.

I have the KBT model with the round basket with the drip stop manual switch. Can I remove the original bracket and install the automatic dripstop compatible bracket?
