Overview

Delicious notes of juicy blueberry and blackberry melt into flavors of hazelnut, chocolate and brown sugar with a buttery mouthfeel. This complex blend is both intense and satisfying as the components work together harmoniously.

Very delicious espresso

Very yummy and syrupy blend when extracted correctly. Lots of cream and a nice Italian bent espresso. Roasted perfectly.

Not my favorite beans

Didn't care for this coffee as an espresso. Beans also didn't have a good aroma.

High quality combined with value.

This is one of my favorite coffees for superauto use, along with Victrola Triborough Blend. They are similar in some ways, but are subtlety different, this one blends Latin America and African beans, whereas the Triborough blends Latin American and Indonesian beans.

My go to espresso

This is a wonderfully rich coffee for home espresso. It has become my standard espresso after trying at least 20 varieties. It is great value and goes well with milk based drinks as it has enough depth to come through. I've used it with a semi-auto and a Breville Oracle, in expresso and milk based drinks.

Good, Though My Experience Is Far from the Description

I love coffees with a prominent blueberry element, of which SCG carries many fine examples. I was therefore excited to order Victrola's Streamline, but ultimately disappointed. It is a good coffee, with nuance and complexity, but on my palette it simply doesn't deliver the fruitiness I enjoy, and it is sharper than I generally enjoy.Notes:Roasted early January, brewed early February.Blooms more than many during the initial wetting pour.In the basket: notes of cocoa and some plum and graham cracker. In the cup: Aroma dominated by cocoa, but the taste is earthy/flinty with a marked note of grapefruit. Though it has a moderately creamy mouth-feel, on my palate it’s pretty sharp, which dominates the experience for me.(Fresh ground, Baratza Virtuoso; Kalita Wave (glass); Third Wave water, 202ºF±3º; 17:1)
