Great Choice

This is the 1st time I've tried Wonderstate Coffee - Off Grid.I really loved the dark + richness of this coffee.It's bold + smooth at the same time. It's what I hope for in my espresso.

Oily - not good for Super-Autos

Very oily. Jammed our Saeco Super-Auto. Very dark roast and, to us, seemed a bit "burnt." Your mileage may vary but we'll pass on this in the future...

This is the favorite coffee that I?ve tried so far. I love a dark rich roast and this really delivers. I recently got a Phillips LatteGo super automatic and have been trying different beans that are suitable for the machine. This has been a challenge since most dark roast beans are too oily and not suitable. This was recommended as good for super automatic, so I was happy to find it. My only concern is that the beans do seem slightly oily, so I will likely alternate it with other beans and use Supergrindz regularly to clean the grinder.

First time trying this coffee and I love it, but the beans seem a little oily. Is it still okay for my super automatic?

Hello!You should be OK to run the bag you have through your machine, but we appreciate this feedback. Roasts change, and while this was originally a roast that was dark but dry, we're removing the superautomatic recommendation as it does seem to have gotten more oily with recent batches.
