Really impressed with this machine and all of the different things that I can do. Whether it's coffee in the morning and espresso or mocha in the afternoon or a cappuccino for a friend it all performs it easily and flawlessly. Granted with a mocha, I have to add a little chocolate, but I can also request a double shot of espresso in that mocha and so this machine has really been fun for me. I would buy it again.
So far we are very pleased with the coffee machine. However, I need to register our machine & do not want to use the QR code. Please advise.
It's great if all you want milk espressos to be macchiatos. That is all it will make. It always makes the foam (and foam is all it makes) first and then adds the espresso. When I first looked it up on the SCG website it showed it as making lattes. Lattes are made by adding hot milk with little foam into the espresso. This machine will not do this, nor make Capuchinos. So, if you really love macchiatos then this is the fully automatic espresso machine for you. I felt like I had been lured in by false advertising. All the photos of this machine showed a "My Latte" milk selection button.
