Works great and easy to use - I use a regular krups grinder for now (no burr grinder yet) but this Aiden coffee maker makes wonderful coffee still! Looking forward to even better cups when I get a proper grinder. I have a MoccaM---- at another home and always have trouble brewing a decent cup of coffee (maybe bc no Burr grinder).

Great machine

This is a great machine. My Technician broke after many years, and this is the replacement. Lots of features, it can make a pot of coffee that is truly pour over quality.

It's 4am and I'm smiling!

Outstanding machine! I am returning a technivorm in favor of this unit. The coffee is exceptional and easy to make. You have control over everything. It is well made. Parts are accessible. The only complaint is it does not make 12 cups. Now, the 1000 12cup basket filters I have will have to find a second home. But it is worth it. It does have a Removeable water tank despite the info provided by SCG. To me this checks off a major box.

Good Machine, but Needs Refinement

There are some 5? qualities to this brewer, and then there are some 2?. The 5's: It's super user friendly. It brews great coffee in the pour over mode. It looks good on our counter. The 2's: The guided brew quantities are way off, unless you like drinking mud (and I like my coffee strong). So far, when I've used the basket -with a couple tbls. less than recommended -I get overflow of the grounds into the coffee. And the final issue, even though minor is an annoyance; when the machine signals coffee "ready" and I pull my pot/cup out there's still coffee streaming out of the brewer (not dripping, streaming). All in all, I like the machine. Once I get all the quantities dialed in, it will be pure pleasure to use.

This machine makes incredible coffee. Has absolutely leveled up my life. This is a flavor force multiplier.

I take one star off for the following reason.

They released the product without the advertised app functionality. I was looking forward to getting my fellow drops and seamlessly brewing them exactly as the roaster intended. It would also be great to be able to create and edit brew profiles within the app. I look forward to the release of the app.

Can you use Basket filters?

Yes basket or cone. Basket filters 8-12 cups. The basket is on the small side, hold <82grams. But can brew 10 cups. The larger filters will, ( 12cup e.g. Bunn) will not fit.
