I have bought many items through Seattle Coffee Gear over the years and have always gotten terrific products. However, this product doesn't measure up, pun intended or not. I cannot get an accurate weight of what I hope will be coffee enough for a double shot. I can weigh an approximate amount 3, 4 or more times and get a widely divergent weight each and every time. I've gone back to eyeballing the beans and hoping for the best. Had I not mistakenly discarded the packing inside the scale's box I would have returned the product.

It’s both a scale and a timer, which offers the essential measurement for crafting a pour over. Nothing fancy but it does the job :)

Works well and is very precise. I do wish the backlight screen light up, but other than that it’s been great.

Works great. Little bigger than what I needed for measuring coffee beans, but may come in handy for other things down the road.

Great starter scale!

Great value, just wish it had real buttons that click. Sometimes I push the Tare button and nothing happens. Other times when I go to zero out the scale and weigh my coffee, it goes back to not being zeroed out. Other than that, it's very accurate at a great price point.

A fool proof little scale to measure our shots of expresso. Got to have one! I also use it for many other uses, including measuring sourdough starter.

It didn?t work and I returned it. Have not received a credit back yet.

I really like this weigh scale. My original scale was bright and loud, and made measuring coffee beans feel like I was filling up gasoline. The Hario is quiet, precise, and minimal. Exactly what you?d associate with a peaceful morning coffee-making session.

Nice and easy to use

I used to work at a coffee shop and we use Acaia scales. But this scale is different. Light and easy to use for my Chemex and v60. I get to have a more consistent weight for my coffee beans. I was looking at the Acaia pearl but I told myself that it's too pricey and too much for me for a home use coffee.

I bought this scale as part of my pursuit to up my game in coffee preparation. It works exactly as advertised.

This is a solid choice for an accurate scale to measure coffee with. No Bluetooth fanciness—just gets the job done down to a tenth of a gram and I believe it is a good brand name in the coffee universe, so its value should hold up a bit after purchase.

Light in weight and easy to use! Love this scale!

Great scale for my first one, getting into the coffee game & using it for my French press. It’s a great size for that and love that it has a timer built in. The reaction time on the scale is a bit slow but nothing crazy and easy to get used to.

Just upped my pourover game, and this does the trick nicely!

The scale reading takes a little longer to dial-in the exact amount than I would like, but it is a great scale overall.

Really like this.One improvement would be to have a capacity of 3 Kg so that you could set an all metal french press, like the P7 on it and fill it to whatever level you like.

It's a nice scale, but it's a little hard to tell when you've pressed the Timer button. I often press it and have to wait until 1 second passes before I'm sure I hit it. It'd be better if there was some kind of feedback that a button was touched.

Easy to use and does everything you need from a scale perspective to brew a good cup of coffee.

Honestly, it's a good scale. Responsive, simple, easy to use. But, considering a few things, I think it's a little overpriced. The brewista scale for sale here is about half the price of this Hario scale, and is wrapped in steel, has rubber feet to keep the scale from slipping, a backlit screen, and the option to weigh in ounces--making it useful a kitchen scale as well. The Hario can boast of none of these features, yet somehow I keep using it for coffee. Maybe it's the small size and humble nature...

I was long overdue buying a scale to perfect my pour over coffee with the right ratio of coffee to water. The timer and scale work perfectly and so happy I can more easily measure the amount of water using the scale. Very pleased with the Hario V60 Drip Scale. Works like a charm!

I don't even use the timer function most of the time, but the weighing function of this scale is a deal when compared with the other offerings on SCG.

Good price, accurate, helps with dosing my espresso correctly. The timer also works great for timing the shot.
