Key Features

  • Compact - Dual boilers have a reputation for being large and cumbersome, but this machine packs all the features of larger machines into a small footprint.
  • Smart Controls - Featuring Lelit's LCC, the Elizabeth lets the user program brew and steam temperature, manual or timed shot dosing and pre-infusion length.
  • Easy Clean - Regular backflushing is less of a chore thanks to an automated cleaning mode.
  • Drip Tray - Other machines sacrifice drip tray size to stay compact, but the Elizabeth's drip tray rivals that of full size machines. Less emptying, more brewing.
  • Shot Protection - Built in shot protection means that you'll be able to finish the extraction you started even when the tank is low on water.
  • Perfect Hot Water - Typically hot water comes directly from the steam boiler and is too hot most uses, but with a cool water mixing valve there's no need to worry about scorching your Tea or Americano on the Elizabeth.

Overview

The LELIT Elizabeth is packed with the features and control that we've come to expect from such an innovative company. With two small boilers, the Elizabeth is designed for those who need a capable machine in a small footprint that can be ready to craft a drink in under ten minutes. LELIT minimized the size of the machine compared to other dual boiler machines by choosing a compact and silent vibratory pump over a traditional rotary pump. The small-but-mighty steam boiler features a tiny 0.6L capacity but runs up to 2 bars of pressure for better performance. The LELIT Control Center, which doubles as a shot timer, allows you to take control of your brewing parameters. Customize settings like brew temperature, manual or timed shot dosing, and pre-infusion length to get perfect shots every time. The LELIT Elizabeth gives all of the performance and control that usually comes with a hefty price tag, and doesn't sacrifice the counter space to do it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the LELIT Elizabeth a dual boiler?

Yes — a compact dual boiler with a 0.3L brew boiler and 0.6L steam boiler, so you can brew and steam at the same time.

How fast does the Elizabeth heat up?

It's ready in under 10 minutes — fast for a dual boiler.

What pump does the Elizabeth use?

A compact, quiet vibratory pump, which keeps the machine smaller than rotary-pump dual boilers. It runs from its 2.5L internal tank.

Is the Elizabeth's hot water good for tea and Americanos?

Yes. A cool-water mixing valve tempers the hot water so it doesn't scorch tea or Americanos.

How does the Elizabeth compare to the Rancilio Silvia Pro X?

Both are compact dual boilers. The Elizabeth adds LELIT Control Center programming (temperatures, shot dosing, pre-infusion) and an automatic backflush mode; the Pro X has a larger 1L steam boiler and auto-on.

What's the warranty?

1 year from Seattle Coffee Gear.

Overall happy with the machine, thought I was buying the new Elizabeth 3 though. The steam knob on this model is plastic and doesn’t work well.

Leaky machine but makes a great espresso. Not sure how I feel about the frother yet - still trying to get a quality macchiato. Store company service was great.

Fantastic Upgrade

The Lelit has been a massive upgrade from my Bambino I was using. The learning curve of the machine is not very steep and it's very straight forward on how it works. It makes 3-4 back to back milk drinks easily with consistency and I love it.

Great espresso/milk drinks and convenient

The Lelit Elizabeth is my first espresso machine, and I've had it about a month. For my use case, this machine has been awesome. Espresso is great, fast warm up time, quick steaming and easy to clean. This allows me to turn out a quick cappuccino before I leave for work. I really wanted a larger E61 machine but since I only make one drink a day during the week and needed the convenience, this was right machine for me.

Compact Dual Boiler For the Win!

After about a month of use, I'm loving our Elizabeth. Upgraded from a Gaggia Classic, and have really enjoyed the dual boiler and additional PID features the Elizabeth brings. It's also a great, space-saving machine as I have a coffee counter with a shallow depth (14"), and a lower cabinet (15"). The Elizabeth just manages to fit, but looks almost like a built-in appliance with its sleek lines, and it works great for me in the space. It's clean, with a minimal aesthetic that fits in a tight footprint. When paired with many features from much larger machines (Pre-infusion, Shot timer, PID, Dual Boiler, etc.), it checked a lot of boxes. I couldn't be happier with it.

Love the Lelit

Functions and cleans just like a larger professional machine you would find in a coffee shop. Had my own shop for five years and this machine is like having a miniature version of the professional one.

Disappointed
Makes Great Coffee, but Unreliable

The Lelit Elizabeth looks and feels like a high-quality machine, but it has needed service three times in just over a year. Seattle Coffee Gear has repaired it under warranty twice, the first time I paid the $250 shipping, second time SCG covered shipping, but I was without the machine for over six weeks total. Now it is one month out of warranty and it needs service again, as a boiler is again leaking and the pump running endlessly. Really disappointing, because I love the machine when it's working properly, but unfortunately the quality or workmanship of the components is lacking. I will probably be able to repair it myself if parts are available, but I just want to make great espresso at home, not spend my time either repacking and shipping and/or figuring out how to repair a machine.

Makes Great Coffee, but Unreliable

I love this machine, but in just over a year it has needed service three times. It has the look and feel of a high quality machine, it pulls excellent espresso and steams well, but at this price it should not have so many problems. Twice Seattle Coffee Gear has performed repairs under warranty, the first time I paid the $250 shipping, the second time SCG covered shipping, but I was without a machine for over six weeks in total. Now machine is one month out of warranty and it is again leaking from a boiler and endlessly running the pump. I'm really disappointed because I love the machine but would not recommend it.

Everything u need nothing u dont...

I drink 5 or 6 milk drinks a day. It's perfect for a couple that drinks twice that. Often I'll drink two or three 16 gram drinks in a row, with a lot of hot milk, in the morning. This machine does not struggle with back to back drinks. I mean theoretically I guess it could if you brewed many in a row and ran steam at the same time as expresso making but i've never seen hit have to heat up whatsoever between drinks... I literally think they just say that to try create a negative about this unit (that does not exist??) and upsell you to another more expensive unit... I set it to 206F and in about 5 or 10 minutes it's hot and stays hot until it automatically shuts down. Overall, expresso making and (VERY FAST) milk frothing at the same time, big reservoir and drip tray, adjustable preinfusion, auto off shot timers, very small form factor (depth and width and height is comparable to a normal drip coffee maker) and insulated frothing spout made me buy this... not sure what other features I really need?? Had about six months, pleasure to use everyday... very consistent expresso. My only thing to dial in is grind... I like having one preset button for 32 seconds including 6 second infusion and one button left on manual for when I change out beans and have redial in grind settings on the new bean. Had to adjust pressure setting when changing to naked style handle but that was easy too with a half a dozen turns with a screwdriver and wrench. The guts of this thing are real handmade serviceable plumbing brass and stainless parts--not cheap unfixable Chinese circuitry and plastic... Best bang for buck dual boiler out there...

Since the Lelit brand has been acquired by Breville, does the Elizabeth model still have an all stainless steel water path?

Jake B.

Hello, PL92T Elizabeth's since at least September 2020 have had a brass coffee boiler. The steam wand and steam boiler are Stainless Steel but that water path is not completely stainless steel as there are fittings that are made of brass after the boiler and before the steam wand.

Hi where is this machine made?I’m really interested in it because of the small footprint as my counter space is limited.I really want a Rancilio pro x as I have had great experience with Rancilio but the depth is to long

Lynda P.

Love the Lelit! Having used a professional machine ( Nuovo Simonelli ) for 5 years, I find the Lelit functions & cleans like a miniature version of it. It’s easy to use and easy to clean and fill.

Jake B.

Hi William, the Lelit Elizabeth is made in Italy, we find it is a great choice for limited counter space!
