Quite frankly, I turned to this product after twice being unable to get onto the ordering list for the Niche, the second time due to the fact that after I arranged my whole morning around the time that new lot was to go on sale, they changed the time and didn't bother to inform MANY of us.So, frustrated, but still disappointed, I found the Fausto Touch, read everything I could about it and contacted Seattle Coffee. I spoke with a wonderful young lady (sorry, the name escapes me right now) and decided to place the order.I had two concerns:1) that it did its job as a coffee grinder, particularly, an expresso grinder and,2) the noise level.I am EXTREMELY happy on both counts and am pleased to report that my "Niche-envy" has dissipated! :-)I hope this helps anyone who's on the fence and wondering.DCDPS - I am also happy that I ordered the matte black. Much as I LOVE the look of the chrome/stainless steel, the matte black doesn't show up every little smudge mark making me feel like I have to keep it spotless every day.
Excellent for my needs, which are multiple morning coffees. I wish there was a way to swap hoppers for decaf beans but just not what it was intended for. Take the hopper off and emptying and refilling with decaf beans is a PITA.
For the price point I think the grinds come out too clumpy which is my main complaint with this grinder. It looks great and in my opinion pretty quite. Would not suggest for single dosing. As a beginner I was able to dial in beans pretty quickly with it.
I have this machine and I push the grind button and the computer shows it’s grinding but nothing happening. Is there a way to reboot the computer?I also completely cleaned the machine too. Any suggestions?
Is reliable is the touch screen? I've seen some videos of the previous model that showed touchscreen issues/problems.
My answer is similar to Matthew's. I've had it for months and each time I experienced a "problem", reading the instruction manual revealed that the TRUE source of the problem was ME, and NOT the grinder.I LOVE this product.
I have been using this daily for about a month and had no issues.
I’ve used it daily for the past 6-8 months without any issue. I bought this model instead of the older version since they addressed essentially all of the issues on the prior version in this model. The touchscreen is quite nice on this one

Hello! It is not, but more importantly, this is a home grinder and definitely not suited for a commercial environment.
